Tiefling Bard of the Forgettable Realms
Akim was born to a Tiefling mother and human father, though he never met his father. His mother was a simple woman, providing for Akim through hard labor wherever she could find it. Roaming around human cities for work, one night early in Akim’s twelfth year Akim’s mother was brutally murdered during a raid, and it was only thanks to a human cleric that he survived. Akim was trained in the ways of his keeper’s faith of Arbor. While trained as an acolyte for the faith he also had a passion for music and story telling that led him to the college of Bards. Shortly before his death, Akim’s keeper blessed him in the light of Leira, recognizing the trickery and madness that stirred within his disciple. Akim swore to always protect followers of the Forgotten Realms, and buried his mentor at the Temple of Ilmater, where he remained in solitude for many years, learning sacred arts, training those of the faith, and occasionally roaming around local cities to collect supplies.
