Tiefling Bard of Mischief and Mayhem
It was an accident, really. Becoming a bard. Iaza just wanted to impress a girl, and what better way to do that than to claim to be a bag-piping prodigy? But of course the girl’s father was the local event planner, and of course the Duke would be passing through town, and of course he needed another entertainment act to fill out the performance he had planned for the occasion. He promised to pay her 20 gold pieces, and his daughter was so insistent that Iaza would be perfect for the job that she couldn’t really say no… Now she was stuck: she had exactly one week to learn the bagpipes, or she could kiss those 20 gold pieces, and her reputation, goodbye.
But as it turned out, she was good. She was really good. She was so good that, after her performance, the Duke hired her as an entertainer at his palace on the spot. She was his favourite bard for a few years, but all good things must come to an end. It was just so boring, and then there were those accusations of theft… and forgery… and fraud… and tax evasion… Point is, Iaza needed a change of pace, so she struck out on her own. She wandered from place to place, never settling down, until one day she stumbled upon the Guild of Heroes, entirely by accident. She thought it looked interesting, and… well… the rest, as they say, is history.
